Biography
Ian currently serves as President of Automation Experts Group, LLC (AEG), a consulting firm that specializes in the design, commissioning, and support of industrial control systems.

Before AEG, he served as a Controls Engineer with
Fitz-Thors Engineering, Inc. and was responsible for managing control systems design for numerous projects ranging in scale from automation feasibility studies to large-scale manufacturing lines.

He has a passion for problem solving, building long term relationships with clients, and guiding clients through the industrial automation life-cycle from executive-level planning to plant floor production.

He received a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Auburn University and is currently pursuing an Online Master of Science in Computer Science (OMSCS) with a Specialization in Interactive Intelligence from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

He has served customers including AMERICAN (American Cast Iron Pipe Company), Leadec Industrial Services, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Martinrea International US Inc., Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Metalsa, Shaw Industries Group, Siemens Industry, Samvardhana Motherson Peguform (SMP), and Truck and Wheel Corporation USA, among many others.
